Don't read it until after you've read Reflex though, because it contains spoilers.Spherical Timehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02435055266803359329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6331135384154117296.post-77714745324826328292008-07-29T09:53:00.000+01:002008-07-29T09:53:00.000+01:00I can't say that I blame him for wanting to cash i...I can't say that I blame him for wanting to cash in on the marketing around the film - it's a rare opportunity for SF authors!Anthony G Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00798830903236765181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6331135384154117296.post-25790245743882855502008-07-28T13:57:00.000+01:002008-07-28T13:57:00.000+01:00According to Wikipedia, he's also written "Greenwa...According to Wikipedia, he's also written "Greenwar" (1997), but I haven't read that. Well, it lists "Jumper: Griffin's Story" as his latest, but that's supposed to be based on a character from the FILM! Much better than I expected.

Frankly, I would never have believed anyone could write a decent sequel to that book. After all, if you could teleport at will, you'd be almost invulnerable, wouldn't you? And I figured that Gould had covered the possibilities already in his first book. So the successful sequel was definitely a surprise.Bill Garthrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08552459555883204060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6331135384154117296.post-16946378063708353882008-07-26T01:11:00.000+01:002008-07-26T01:11:00.000+01:00Bill, I have another two books by him on my shelve...Bill, I have another two books by him on my shelves, "Blind Waves", which is set in the near future, and "Helm", which differs in being set in the far future on an entirely different planet. But I think this might be my favorite (with "Jumper" close behind).Bill Garthrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08552459555883204060noreply@blogger.com
